Happy Days...

There has been a new telugu movie released recently...Happy Days...its about a bunch of guys living thru their engineering days...I liked the movie, I basically liked the concept of the movie...Engineering Days...the most beautiful days of anyones life, who has done engineering ofcourse! hehe...The movie forced me to do something which I tried to avoid all these days...Miss those golden old days...No doubt I am having a jolly time now, but those days...they were just...unbeatable
Part 1: Engineering First Year at MVSR Engineering College! :)
Well yes, like any other teenager, I was nervous on my first day of college...anyway first was the orientation day, went with my dad, was not feeling too well so came back early, met no one, saw no part of college, just came back home...i thought i was not ready for this new phase...seemed all strange and new but yet it began...the journey to the college was a long one, though not picture perfect clear, i have vivid memories of the first day...the first guy i met, Veera Praveen kumar from my class...we spent the first few hours trying to figure out where our class was...I was caught by a senior in between but Veera was quick to save me from him. My telugu was extremely poor that time, it has not really improved as such from then but i think its better now :) anyway we figured where our class was and attended it...that was my first day...after that, my memory goes blank...just remember bits and pieces...like once i showed the guys from mechanical my middle finger standing right in the middle of their class...they were jeering me, i didnt like it...so retorted with the infamous middle finger of mine...and once i cried...YES ! i did!! and why?? hahaha...because i was asked to get them into the chemistry lab and no one listened to me!! hehe...I know thats terrible! i remember meeting Pranay and Subbu for the first time, hindi speaking guys! ah ha! what a relief...Subbu and I met because we had the KV connection bonding us...I remember the graphics classes (i was good in that subject!) and the numerous talks i used to have with a guy at the c++ lab...he was a real stud and i used to talk my way thru...he told me real cool things that could be done with c++, but i never could implement it...
our section, CSE+ECE was a bunch of nomads, we didnt have no class to sit...we just used to occupy the ones which were free...and what i loved doing in a class?? skething the middle finger and a pissing boy!! drew it at every bench i sat on...pranay and i used to share the bench...grew pretty close as time flew...
first girl i tried speaking to, swetha gali...it was at the koti bus stop...i tried asking her mechanics notes i guess...she didnt have them, and after that didnt speak to her for quite some time...my first year was marred with the numerous encounters i had with seniors...i never liked the idea of getting ragged...a bunch of ece seniors tried ragging me in front of the first year block...i walked off and walked in straight into achyut rao's office and complained!! dunno what happened to those guys and i never tried finding out too!! and then there was this guy called raj, he wasnt after my life but i was! poor fella! every time he came into first year block i complained and got him caught!! his only offence...he once ragged a girl from my class on whom i had a crush for quite some time!! there was another guy, a fair one...forgot his name! he never liked me and i never liked him...he threated me not to come to the freshers party...and i never gave a final year farewell party to my seniors!! sweet revenge is what i thought...but regretted that fact later on...esp after my batch got the farewell party! anyway my only reason for being so adamant in front of seniors...my aunt was a asst professor in the same college!! hehe...
frankly to sit and remember moments from first year is pretty difficult...there might have been so many other precious moments which i am not able to do proper justice...anyway first year had just started...and my golden moments were just on their way...
Contd...
