Happy Days, yet again...

What was so special in those days? My days of graduation. What makes me nostalgic or rather simply cry when I think about those days. Those golden days. I feel everyone should document what they went through. My memory is already deceiving me...wonder what would happen after few more years...I might loose few more memories, but not completely. Those days were special. Special beyond words.
Part 2: Still in 1st year!!
The most special person for me in my class was Pranay Raj Mathur, aka, Apple. My first classes were made a breeze all because of this person. We used to share our bench. I remember one instance, one day. All our class mates were adamant to bunk the last class, which was Engg Graphics class...remember? that was my fav. subject...so we conspired with everyone and waited till everyone left...we waited even after everyone left...until the lecturers came!! haha!! we told them everyone left, gave our attendence and left too!! Bunking the official way!! real mean thing to do!! i know!! also one high point of my Engg First Year, amongst the NRIs, I had the highest attendence percentage...all the NRI quota students were called into Achyut Rao sir's office...everyone was getting left and right and I was happily grinning!! That I guess was one of the first time I saw Aparna and Harshitha and hoped that they saw me too! Both of them eventually aquired importance in my life in different ways...shall elaborate upon that too...
Madan...one of the first guys I spoke to outside the class. I was sitting in the bus, coming to college and suddenly I hear someone call for me. We were from the same school...my memory had already failed me, but once he gave me enough inputs I realised! That again was start of a great friendship...Madann Bhaii!! Ravii Bhaii! is how we used to call each other. One of the only guys I managed to be in good terms with from ECE first section.
Manoj was a character who was missing from my initial days of Engg. First year we hardly had any interaction, he was missing because he was busy preparing for IIT. MVSR was not of his standard but poor guy hehe eventually had to settle for MVSR and me as one of his close friends!! (so I assume!! :))
Around that time, Lucky Ali had come up with the song Gori Teri Aankhen...I was in awe with that song...I used to find it real nice and knowing that my singing sucked, I used to hum it in a tone as low as possible...And what else do I remember?? hmmm...I remember our Mechanics lecturer...I forgot his name...memory loss into play yet again! He was one of the most irregular lecturers around, and I maintain the fact that I never felt interested in that subject because of him and also because it resembled Physics!! to get some facts straight...i flunked in Physics and Engg Mechanics in first year!! hehe...I hated both the subjects!
I guess the day to day routine was pretty similar...Used to come till station in Dads car or by my saffire...board the bus...go to college...attend college...board the bus...come back home..a point to mention...I always, ALWAYS used to sit behind lecturers in the bus...and sleep! why sit behind lecturers? because it was the safest place to escape ragging...
Well hey, one more thing...once i was being ragged by few seniors, i guess kashyap and abhilash...at koti bus stop...i got real physced...got some kind of stroke and suddenly stopped breathing, it was enough to scare me and ofcourse the seniors...they were both extremely helpful in taking care of me and making sure I reached home safe...that was very nice of them, but the sad part was that I cried again, and this time in front of Aparna...i guess her impression when she saw me then was "what a sissy! crying because he is getting ragged!" she never knew about the stroke until i told her!! :) saving grace!!
well this is all again, my life before the golden moments started...they were yet to come! and 1st year was still going on :)
